Biography

Age of Agony is a Hungarian old school death metal band.
The band was formed in January 2002, but we played together from 1995 to 2002 in a formation called Silent Agony

We started as five, after recording „War, Hate, Blasphemy” we parted with one of our guitarists. Our concerts are full of energy, accompanied by brutality and mad headbanging. Age of Agony does not concentrate to technique, we are more on the old school side of death metal, the most important for us is that our music stands for the perfect death metal feeling. Our main influences are Unleashed, Dismember, Fleshcrawl, Autopsy, Nunslaughter, Massacre, etc.
Our releases so far:

”Promo” (Promotional CD 2002) – A recording containing 3 songs, made for promotional use. We sent it for fanzines, labels. All 3 songs are on our first record „War, Hate, Blasphemy”. „The dark conquers all” – (Demo CD 2003) A 20-minutes-long, 4-songs Demo CD, with printed cover, we promoted it in the worldwide underground scene, and thank that work we gave a lot of interviews worldwide, all the songs from the demo took place in different compilations, and the recoding spread the name „Age of Agony” in the underground.

'War,Hate,Blasphemy”-/Album 2005/ - A 9-songs, 40-minutes-long album, the cassette version was released in April 2005 by Kárpátia records, the CD version was released by Terranis Productions.
On our next record „Follow the way of hate” (as the title shows) we follow our designated way…
